Summary

When CIA operative Agent Zero finds out his two teenage girls have been kidnapped and are bound for a trafficking ring in Eastern Europe, he embarks on a high-octane chase across Europe, leaving a trail of devastation is his wake as he breaks all rules, risks his own life, and does everything he can to get his daughters back.

Kent, ordered by the CIA to stand down, refuses. Without the backing of the agency, with moles and assassins on all sides, with a lover he can barely trust, and being targeted himself, Agent Zero must fight multiple foes to get his girls back.

Up against the most deadly trafficking ring in Europe, with political connections reaching all the way to the top, it is an unlikely battle - one man against an army - and one that only Agent Zero can wage.

And yet, his own identity, he realizes, may be the most perilous secret of all.

couldn't stop listening, loved it.

Sat in the car not wanting the journey to end and keep listening.
I unreservedly recommend the Zero books.

Very exciting!

I've had to buy credits so I can continue to binge on Agent Zero! These stories are so well written, so exciting, and they keep me up past my bedtime regularly! I get annoyed with Kent and his lack of trust of Maria. Hopefully someday that will be resolved. Keep 'em coming, Jack!

So disappointing, it’s a zero from me

Edoardo Ballerini is a good narrator so I have only praise for his performance and I love a good action thriller with a good cast and story, but this ain’t that, it’s plain awful.

Our hero in this next outing has now become even more unbelievable and ridiculous in his abilities.

Is this a superhero story? He’s un-killable, completely above the law and predictable and getting help from third parties ensuring his lone character can always achieve the impossible makes this listen.....well.....just a waste of time and frankly unbelievable.

His ability to escape from impossible situations with even more improbable help is tedious. I’m so disappointed as the potential of this character is good.

Book one is good, this one ain’t, don’t bother, I’m sending this one back.

Good but uncomfortable

I enjoyed the story but found the topic uncomfortable, which reduced my overall enjoyment. The continual threat to two young girls sat uneasily with me and turned the book into a dark world that I didn’t want to enter.
