About this listen
Part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman, part collection of synonyms for nunny, Sarah Millican's debut audiobook delves into her super normal life with daft stories, funny tales and proper advice on how to get past life's blips - like being good at school but not good at friends, the excitement of IBS and how to blossom postdivorce.
If you've ever worn glasses at the age of six, worn an off-the-shoulder gown with no confidence, been contacted by an old school bully, lived in your childhood bedroom in your 30s, been gloriously dumped in a Frankie and Benny's, cried so much you felt great, been for a romantic walk with a dog or worn leggings two days in a row even though they smelt of wee from a distance, then this is your audiobook. If you haven't done those things but wish you had, this is your audiobook. If you just want to laugh on a train/sofa/toilet or under your desk at work, this is your audiobook.

Funny, go for it kind of a book.I would recommend
I enjoyed the book, made me laugh out loud. Sarah Millican, you are just perfect exactly the way you are. Whatever size, makeup, no make-up, patterned dresses with big hooters, black patent shoes on a BAFTAS night 🤷🏼♀️. Honestly, what is wrong with these judgmental people? As my Mam used to say, "You can't please everyone all the time". You carry on being you and making people laugh and smile, you have a gift and thank you for sharing your stories. You made painting 25 fence panels not as painful as I thought it was going to be 😁🤩

its ok to be you
loved every moment of it, it accompanied me on my travel to and from work and it was just what I needed. I'm glad I have to wear a mask on the bus so people could not see how much I was grinning. Sarah you are a champion and thank you for making me feel like one to.

Heartwarming, vulnerable, hilarious and real!
A refreshingly honest, entertaining, caring and just all round wonderful book. Sarah’s journey is reassuring to hear as made me feel less alone as I experience the world in a way similar to her. It’s full of great advice and is the only audio book I’ve listened to more than once.

Fantastic!!
Great book. Laughed all the way through. Really appreciated her honesty on life’s difficult subjects. Her tips at the end of each chapter are useful. We need more honest down to earth celebrities like her!! She says it as it is!!
