must-have book on communication for young adults
As a young adult myself, at times I really struggle to communicate with others effectively. People either take what I say the wrong way, misunderstand my intention etc. but after listening to this book, I gained valuable insights into how others communicate and to meet people where they are at. It provides valuable tips and learnable skills to help you improve your social skills in various different settings such as at parties, work, networking events etc.
There is also a bonus section on Networking for Young Adults at the end of the book, which was great. It goes deeper into connecting with people/ strangers at networking events. I will try some of the suggestions in it at my next networking event. I would recommend this book to every young adult who wants to improve their social communication skills and gain more confidence in talking to strangers as well as people they know.
