About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
Being a parent is complicated - but the trick to succeed is simpler than you think.
Known as the Godmother of Silicon Valley, Esther Wojcicki's three daughters are all hugely successful in both their professional and personal lives. What's her parenting secret?
As we face an epidemic of parental and childhood anxiety, Woj has the advice every parent wants to hear: climb out of that helicopter and relax.
Her tried and tested TRICK approach will help you:
· Let your child discover their own passions
· Move on from past parenting mistakes
· Build rock-solid foundations for a lifelong relationship
· Be brave enough to give your child freedom
· Work with your children, not against them
· Set healthy relationships with technology
Your children are the future. If you change your parenting, you can change the world.

Good
Good book with some useful guidance but too much name dropping of high profile people. Which didn’t really impress me.

A must-read for every parent and teachers
I found this book very good to listen to. I enjoyed every part of it. Her TRICK philosophy matches very well what young children, teenagers, and adults need in today's world.

Don’t waste your credit!
I had read really amazing reviews about this book… ummm did we read the same book?
Basically it’s an autobiography with very little substance and no guidance whatsoever. Really dissatisfied and disappointed.

I, me, mine, I'm so wonderful 😒
I don't think I can even make it past the first chapter. all I have heard so far is oh I am so wonderful, oh my children are so successful, I am perfect, everyone is "begging" for my skills.
There's about 20 minutes worth of name dropping of people and companies who are so desperate for this persons guidance. all I have heard constantly are the words, my, me & I. Fed up already.

Awful
I’ve listened to over an hour of this book so far and all it is is a biography of the authors life. I’ve learnt nothing about how to raise my son. So angry that I’ve wasted a credit on this 😡
