About this listen

Why do you feel an instant attraction to one person and not another? And how can you help ensure that a connection lasts? Although chemistry affects nearly every relationship, few people understand it - what initiates it, what destroys it, and what makes it last forever. In How to Create Chemistry With Anyone, communications expert and best-selling author, Leil Lowndes, turns complex neurological science into easy strategies and unusual techniques for what to do - and what not to do - to spark that elusive feeling of chemistry with almost anyone!

Motivated by a debilitating shyness in her youth, Leil Lowndes has devoted her professional life to helping her audiences become more effective communicators in business, social, and romantic relationships.

For Real Bumpkins and Dorks

There are some tiny sparks of knowledge in the book, I'll admit. However, it is not for a civilized and intelligent person, and I *really* struggled to keep myself listening. The book is written for those brainless persons, whose life equals to the great urge to continuously either drink or get laid -- preferably both at the same time. It is *very* sexist and objectificating, is based on strong sexist stereotypes, and is written and read in a very childish and patronizing way, like the writer were the world's only person in the know and the listener were a little boy, who is being told that the thing between his legs is not a birth defect, and that in fact, every man has it. Men are called hunters, women huntresses, and the opposite sex the quarry. The book is a very scandal-searching one and the writer feasts on dirty language and mental images. Very much not for children or teens, ever. And in fact, not for any person, for that matter. No one ever should think like this book is written, and the book should not be read/listened by anyone, who can be influenced easily.

The essential message of this book is that the woman thinks and feels, the man is a brainless f*-machine, and that its all written into the stars by Mother Nature. Just for the writer to know, I'm a man, I do not think at all like this book tries to tell me I should, and I'm greatly disgusted about the book, as I would be about any man or woman, who does not think with their own brains and believes the enormous nonsense this book tries to make them to internalize. So, that much for those stereotypes. If someone really thinks the way this book is written, they should make an appointment for a therapist immediately.

I can't believe that books like this are still being written and published in 2013. To cap it all, maybe someone should write a book about the differences between white and black people, calling them with a few selected names... There are a *way* smarter books available, some even from the same author -- just pick one of them instead. Pur-LEASE!!
