If so, listen to this book now.

Designed for both women and men in a lively, accessible style, the book uses examples from the world of pop music, referring to divas such as Beyoncé and Adele. You will learn:

  • The four-step DIVA Speaking System™ (One size doesn’t fit all - listen to know about multiple different ways to be successfully you on stage.)
  • A step-by-step process to help you craft, remember, and deliver a high-quality presentation
  • How to prepare mentally and physically, making sure you give the audience what they want while getting what you need
  • Where to find speaking gigs and how to analyze your performances so that your presentations get better and better over time

The content covers storytelling, stagecraft, vocal variety, dealing with nerves, and much more. Accompanying the book are a variety of free gifts, delivered as an online course. These include:

  • Two-minute video summaries of each chapter
  • Short videos containing vocal warm-ups to get your voice into shape
  • Audio material to help you visualize success
  • A PDF workbook

This book gives you all the tools you need to make an impact and enjoy your moment in the spotlight.

Discover how to be a uniquely fabulous speaker and excel at being you on stage, playing to your strengths and building on your weaker areas to create a rich and valuable experience for your audience.

Your personal tool kit to be a better speaker.

This book shows you step by step on how to improve and present with impact. It's your personal tool kit to be a better speaker.

Readying this book and then rereading it again for me was like doing a presentation coarse in my own time. I love it.

I especially liked the fact that I could do the exercises at my own pace. At first, you become self aware. Thereafter and with each iteration you will notice yourself slowing improving. You just don't get that with a live course.

The best "How to" book for every career woman

I have been to a few webinars/ webcasts and read a couple of books around this topic, but Shola Kaye tops them all. It comes through as a thoroughly researched book that comes from experience. From an exhaustive checklist on how to prepare before your stage appearance to how to improve your voice, to what to do after your stage appearance ,every aspect of public speaking is addressed. I particularly liked the choice given to pick one or two characteristics (D.I.V.A) that one would mostly relate with and then improve on them. Loved the narration by Kristin A Salads with the exquisite intonation and smooth flowing voice that keeps you absorbed.Overall a book that every woman needs to keep handy and refer to before every stage show or even an important presentation.
