Surprising, penetrating
I admit it I am self help geek. I must have listened, read and watched in excess of 600 titles.
The author is really onto something with this material, If you start to apply this in your life you will begin to make some real progress on your personal journey. The examples were too on the money for comfort. The author does not promise a get rich quick all your problems will disappear recipe.
The central theme is your particular situation is the work you need to do to move forward. There are parallels on the Sedona Method and the writing of Pema Chodram both of which i think are excellent.
Looking forward to listening to and reading more titles by the author.

Disappointing narration
I was very disappointed by this. I have watched B Fry on TV and felt his approach was usually justified and well placed, but his narration was cold and flat and lacked emotion. The message I am sure is in there but his voice just made it hard to take it on board.

A Very Disappointing Listen
I was very disappointed with this audiobook, made worse by the nagging thought that the printed version would be a worthwhile read. The content of the book is spoilt by the obvious c ost cutting and desire by the publishers to do this project on the cheap. From the poor recording quality, which sounds like it was done in someone's front room, and the rather unexciting delivery of the author, the whole thing sounds like an amateur home project.
When listening to personal development tapes the listener should be inspired by the reader; the author's voice would be more suited to relaxation tapes and he does have a tendency to drift off the topic and mumble.
As an example listen to any of the Duncan Bannatyne audiobooks. Mr Bannatyne at least had the acumen to realise that an actor could do more justice to the text, as it is their stock-in-trade, and the end results are engaging, inspirational and withstand numerous replays.
"How to be rich", however, is going straight in the round filing cabinet.
