About this listen
Who will claim the ancient, awesome arsenal awaiting aboard the House of the Silent Moons?
Star Lawyers Corporation must defend a known criminal in Pirate Court to prevent ancient technologies from falling into the hands of expansionist star nations, which will lead to a new era of galactic war. Only pirate Captain Flavio Tavares, who faces terrible judgment by his peers, can lead Tyler Matthews to a derelict starbase abandoned by the collapsing Galactic Empire long ago.
The House of Silent Moons orbits a remote gas giant amid hundreds of planetoids and asteroids. Aboard this massive structure, where defenders expected to return victorious from an apocalyptic struggle with ruthless enemies, the doomed Imperial forces stockpiled powerful weapons and tech modules more advanced than anything available in Tyler's 32nd century civilization. Star Lawyers must locate the starbase quickly, because the clock is ticking. Aggressive forces hostile to the Terran Commonwealth also seek the lost trove of technology. To spring the guilty pirate captain from trial by his own people, Tyler faces a court where the judge blasts convicted defendants on the spot in trials that last a few hours at most. And the court appointed prosecutor, Kaito, is the middle son of the Matthews Family's greatest foe, Hideki Tsuchiya.
Expect action in deep space, fighting in the streets of the pirate city of Port Royal, and knock-down-drag-out legal battles in the Pirate courtroom.

Best one so far, a bit less spicy
Definitely feels a better balanced book than the first 3, funnier and less scattered in the story telling. I'd recommend it if you listened to the first three.
New characters were better fleshed out in their background or motive. There's still sadly some cringe worthy teenage boy writing in areas, specifically character design, where every female character is over endowed, detailed and jiggling everywhere, while male characters barely even have their height mentioned. That side of the writing is why I'll never recommend these books to friends, while I can ignore it, I'd never want to seem enthusiastic about it.
The voice acting is better in this than the last 3, a bit more consistent in the UK accents, however I'll say the narrator needs a wider range, voices are often the same select few accents which gets tiring.
But, I enjoyed it, it made me laugh and I listened to the whole thing, so I have to rate it well as I'm a picky reader and listener.

fun to listen to
this is fun to listen too. however it does sometimes read a little like a teenage boys fantasy.
