About this listen
The body of a murdered woman is found washed up on Cramond Island near the mouth of the River Forth. Days later detectives are called to a flat in Edinburgh; the kitchen is covered in blood, and the occupier is missing.
When the name of the woman from Cramond Island is revealed, it stirs unwelcome memories for those who knew her, Chief Constable Bob Skinner most of all. Now based in Glasgow, he has no reason to become involved in the linked cases. Yet he does, unwittingly setting in motion a course that will lead him into a personal nightmare and the toughest choice of his life....

Hour of Darkness
I have enjoyed listening to Hour of Darkness and the twists and turns of the story. So many details were there to be unravelled and then thought about. The story worked well and I am looking forward to book 25 in the series. It has been a long and convoluted journey taken over many years.
Excellent.

Quite good , but .
This is my first by this author and I'm afraid my last , the whole thing was quite good but for me there was an over use of the F word , when it's written you can pass over it but when spoken it contains al its resonance and there was too much for me , it's a mistake a lot of authors make , bad language is not used over much in the work place amongst colleagues, spoiled it for me so if you're not keen on bad language give it a miss as I shall the other titles by this author .
