About this listen
He's a Navy SEAL. She's his sister's annoying best friend...and now she's missing. In Tijuana. And he has to find her. During his leave. F*ck.
Navy SEAL Zachary Browne made it back from Yemen to find a squatter living in his house - an apparently homeless and very possibly insane, sexy AF interior designer who claims she was hired by his sister to redecorate his place as a surprise.
Even he knows decorators don't move in to their jobs with all their worldly possessions. And his sister Amanda should know the two things Zach hates more than surprises is change and people touching his stuff. Gabrielle Lee Interiors & More has done all that - and more.
Zach survived Houthi rebels, but he might not survive these two women.
Just when he finally gets Gabby out of his house, if not out of his mind because she is as distracting as she is exasperating, she goes missing and he has to find her.
When he does, things get wild - and not just from the chemistry they’ve been trying to ignore for more than a decade.
What happens in Tijuana...might just kill you.

Fresh & Funny
Hot SEAL, Tijuana Nights was an enjoyable contemporary/romantic suspense with great humour, wrapped in best friend's brother romance with a bit enemy to lover. The combination was thoroughly entertaining; I was hooked from the start. The main characters, Gabby and Zach, were absolutely fabulous with diverse personalities. Their relationship had some ups, downs, push, and pull, and their chemistry, scorching HOT.
Excellent narration by Sean Posvistak. Aside from having a great voice, he did an exceptional job with the characters' voices. All-round, this was a very enjoyable listen, one I highly recommend.

Fun
This is a fun story but I have to admit that the characters feel really really young, especially Gabby. At almost 30 years old, she acted more like really early 20s. Maybe even younger. Gabby is Zach's sister's best friend and she has been in love with Zach for a while. For most of the book, Zach was a bit annoyed with Gabby, which makes their inevitable HEA a little unbelievable but still, there's enough humor to make the book still fun, as we wait for them to get together.
The audiobook was well done. I never listened to Sean Posvistak before but he was really good. He had good control of his voice and he has kind of a fun, comedic voice where he is able to impart humor really well. I enjoyed his reading and was very impressed that I didn't even miss a female narrator!

Fun & engaging!
Very engaging and entertaining story. Gabby and Amanda are bff, college roommates and typical 18 year olds! Zach is Amanda’s slightly older newly qualified Seal brother who Gabby crushes on from the start, however Zach sees ditzy Gabby as nothing but a bad influence on his little sister and dislikes her on sight.
Fast forward 10 years, Gabby and Amanda are still bff and Gabby has got used to Zach ignoring and avoiding her whenever he’s around. Gabby is now a struggling interior designer who loves to dumpster dive and upscale trash. Amanda being the perfect interfering bff for Gabby and annoying sister to Zach arranges for Gabby to redecorate his house while he’s deployed.
Of course Zach arrives home early and sparks fly but he starts to realise he doesn’t actually dislike Gabby at all.
Thoroughly fun and enjoyable listen, there is laughter, misunderstandings abound, plenty of chemistry and heat and wonderful characters, all in all an excellent package perfectly narrated by Sean Posvistak.

Great story!
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and the narration was great too. I feel like Gabby is kind of dingy and she needs Zach to take care of her. I thought the book was about to be over then looked and I still had 2 1/2 hours left, it was great. I recommend this book for sure.

it was okay
For a title like Tijuana Nights, you would have expected more time/nights in Tijuana. I wouldn't consider this a military or suspense book. That part of the story is short and washed over. Gabby was kinda annoying and not a good business owner. 75% of the story Zach didn't even like Gabby so I just didn't see the attraction at the end.
Narration was great - this narrator really gets into the characters. Gabby had a whiny voice but she was kinda a whiny girl so I guess it fits.

off base
I thought this story was going to be much differently. the story lacked depth. When you think it was going one way it goes off tangent. its barely dug into any plot. Gabby was shown as stupid, whiney weak.
narrator was new to me. he did OK. i didn't like the voice used for Gabby it was so whiney .
I did finish the book.

Laugh out loud funny, but a good tale too
I loved this tale! It was laugh out loud funny with some drama to add to the romantic comedy! The characters are likeable and the story flows well and is well written!
The narrator, however, absolutley makes it!! He is fabulous! He uses his voice to perfection to create the mood and the drama with sighs and halts in the narrative that just add to the value of the dramatic effect!
This is a tale well worth the listen to just for the narrator alone but the storyline helps and if I could give the narrator 10 stars I would!!

Stand Alone Story
This is the second book I've listened to in the SEALs in Paradise series, and I'm not sure if it's a coincidence that there's a brief appearance by the only other characters I've read about in the series, or if the appearances are in all the books. The other book I listened to was Hot SEAL, Dirty Martini. At first I thought it was a negative that both Tijuana Nights and Dirty Martini both had a home improvement/decorating theme and that the two books would be too similar, but by the end of the book I liked how things connected together and didn't feel like they were repetitive.
Sean Posvistak did an excellent job with the narration and kept things interesting throughout the book.
