About this listen
Two years after a Coronal Mass Ejection struck Earth, killing billions and destroying all vestiges of modern technological life, Dr. Riley Poole struggles to keep her family and career together as she continues the desperate search for her missing daughter, Julia.
When Riley gets news that Julia is alive in an internment camp on hostile soil, she abandons her post with a field medical unit and races to Julia’s rescue. When old enemies resurface, she runs into more trouble than she can handle, but with the aid of old companions and new, she regains hope of rescuing Julia.

Loved it
I really enjoyed listening to this. its easy listening, not over dramatic or unbelievable and having a woman narrator is a fresh change for an apocalyptic story. I like the fact the women are as strong minded as reality and have a zeal for surving at all costs .. great story overall 👏

Eva Kaminsky is a great narrator
As the title of my review suggests Eva Kaminsky is an easy listen. Far too often this genre has male narrators, this was a pleasant surprise. The book series is good well worth the listen could actually be a teen book too.... That's if it's not aimed at teens anyway.

Story line full of holes with weak characters
The characters are unbelievable clichés and for a plot led by supposedly 'strong women' the female characters are particularly poor cardboard cutouts. The plot is no better and for a post apocalyptic drama it unbelievably twee. And worst of all, after all the platitudes, nobody rescues Biscuit the horse! (Ironic.)

mostly enjoyable. try it you might like it.
the series is mostly enjoyable. theme throughout the book series is if it can go wrong it does and if they need to get out of trouble by the skin of their teeth they do.

has got to be the most awful book I've listened to so far, I have now 201 books. maybe it was personal to me, but I LOATHED coop from the first introduction (by the way dystopian or any apocalyptic books is my genre)
it wasn't just coop I'm sorry but I thought it was awful.
