About this listen

A second chance for romance!

When Highland warrior Ethan MacKeefe approaches the haunted Blackbriar Castle looking for his dog, he is faced with a ghost from his past. In the tower window, he sees the face of Alana, his betrothed who left him at the altar and disappeared, years ago.

The hardest decision Alana Chisholm has ever had to make was to leave her betrothed behind. But now, Ethan MacKeefe has shown up at her door and is going to want answers that she can’t reveal.

With so much at stake, can she continue living without him, even though her heart is broken and she holds a dark secret that Ethan can never know?

Will a ghost from the past end up being a second chance at romance?

Highland Spirit

I loved this book. The story was fantastic. She abandoned her fiancé on their wedding day. Due to a message from her Father
To help him, and her Mother apparently had been kidnapped. When she arrived at the meeting place she found she and Mother and Father were now prisoners and was taken away on a boat. The narration of this book was excellent. The story was told with Scottish accents and different tones to voices. It was so enjoyable. I loved the telling of it. Thank you for writing it Miss Rose.

Loved it

Enjoyed this 2nd book of the series Highland Chronicles. The narrator was good, but not in the love scenes there's no passion at all in those scenes. And sometimes I feel like he's reading a story to a child. I felt the same in all the other books he narrated. But the story is definitely not a child's story and definitely worth a credit Now on to the next one.
