Very good

They all have secrets that they want to hide. We eventually learn them all. There were a few I guessed, but others I didn’t. Bit of a cliff hanger ending. Could have carried on for a few more chapters or maybe another book?! Overall a good listen though.

Narration is bad

This could have been an interesting book but ruined by the narration. Very flat and monotone from all of them

Controlled chaos

Felt the narration was on the dry side with difficulty maintaining focus at times. With that said, the story was so engaging that I found myself able to look past this and binge chapter after chapter.

Unexpected twists as each character reveals their secrets

Another great crime story from nell pattison! 7 people are meeting at the nature reserve, but they each have secrets… fantastically claustrophobic thriller as one evening of bird watching becomes deadly.

You can use downloaded maps on your phone without network coverage and use GPS to navigate

I don't buy that not one person knew that. No need to stumble around not knowing where you are or what direction you are going in.

Droll

Didn't finish it. Throughout the whole book you've got 7 people telling their own take on what's going on. It just went on and on and nothing happened apart from finding one of them dead
