Summary

A British Murder Mystery

Reality is a deadly affair....

When the body of an elderly woman is discovered propped against her bedroom door clutching her heart, locals are saddened but not surprised.

But when the body of a man is discovered in the house, it falls to Freya Bloom and her team to investigate the suspicious deaths. However, piecing together the life of a woman who neighbours refer to as Mad Alice will not be an easy job, and if Freya is to solve the mystery she must question her own sense of reality.

Her Dying Mind is the unforgettable 11th book in the Wild Fens Murder Mystery Series by Jack Cartwright. Filled with twists, peppered with romance, and flavoured with humour, the Wild Fens Murder Mystery Series is perfect for fans of Joy Ellis, JM Dalgliesh, Ann Cleeves, and Rachel McClean.

Not his best, but still very good.

Personally I think that one or two of the characters are getting a little boring and predictable with their constant bickering. I’m not going to mention by name as it could spoil new listeners enjoyment.
But saying that the story was good and so was the narration as always.

Another page turner

Yet again another brilliant book and audiobook in the series. Good plot and narration . The character development keeps you guessing and it is nice to see some love interest developing in different characters.

Fantastic storyline

Love this series. Have listened to all of them and cannot wait for the next one. Always sad when the book is finished. Love the characters, you can invest in them, even those you think you should not like, are likeable! It is well written and I hope the series rolls on for a long time.

Always over too quick

I have read all these books and with each one they get better and better. They are so well written, wonderful story lines - gripping characters who you get to know (almost personally) with a great sense of humour that runs throughout the books. The narrator is such an excellent choice - i could listen to his voice and characterisation all day - am always disappointed to come to the end - and always eagerly awaiting the next book.
