Summary

Two galactic empires want to eliminate Earth.

The ancient Chameleon have an AI chip implanted in their brain. The genocidal Titans are methane-breathing, autistic savants. Together, they have found a common alien credo....

All humans must die.

Henry Gallant’s exceptional ability to interface with AI has made him the key to stopping both species. Together with simulation expert Daniel Logan and forensic xenoarchaeologist Kate Mahoney, he must create the resources to overcome the aliens’ technology advantages in stealth, lasers, and shields.

For fans of Horatio Hornblower.

"A key is a powerful thing."

Henry Gallant and the Great Ship, continues the career, and life, of Henry Gallant, a Natural, excelling in a world of the genetically enhanced. This military space science fiction series is both enjoyable and
combining exciting action with character. Providing sweeping pictures rather than concentrating on technical detail, it is accessible to everyone. This time, again narrated by Rich Miller, the listening is smooth, enhancing the written word with good pacing, articulation, intonation and individually distinctive voicings for the various protagonistsl: another good performance.

The Henry Gallant series by Peter Alesso is an easy to read, enjoyable military S.F.work which concentrates on character interaction as well as battles against a powerful alien race, the Titans. Another race which appeared: was initially friendly but a subsequent attack now seems to suggest another enemy as the powerful Great Ship, with excellent stealth technology, threatens to overwhelm the Earth resources. This, the seventh book, is, like it's predecessors, recommended reading for all S.F.fans. My thanks to the rights holder of Commodore Henry Gallant, who, at my request freely gifted me with a complimentary copy via Audiobook Boom. The books can be read as stand alone but improve if read, in succession, from volume 1.
