GOOD STORY WITH PLENTY OF TWISTS AND TURNS,NONE STOP ACTION FROM PAGE ONE TO THE END,WELL DEVELOPED BELIEVABLE CHARACTERS,LOTS MORE EXCITING ACTION TO COME FROM BOOK TWO I HOPE.

Great story and great narration.

A superbly written and narrated book. Jeff Hays really brought the story to life, imparting the characters with their own unique voices. Laugh out loud funny and nail-biting action.

Good Start

No hanging about with this book. Action started almost at once and did not let up. Interesting storyline, but how you win a war when you can’t kill your enemy is an interesting concept.

I will certainly get Book 2 to find out more.

Meh...

Its ok... There’s plenty of action and it has a good storyline but there’s just something I can’t quite put my finger on... it’s just... ok.

One thing that did bother me though, and is the reason I wont be continuing with the rest of the books. The narration. He sounds like he is talking through gritted teeth throughout the whole book and sounds a little like a newsreader. Most of the voices sound the same, although I did like the effects put on the voices. I think if it had a more involved narration I would have continued the story. I expected so much after reading the other reviews, I just feel a bit let down by it. There was nothing about it that made me want more or think WOW.
