About this listen

Spur Award winner Craig Johnson has garnered critical acclaim for his Walt Longmire mysteries. In this riveting seventh entry, Wyoming's Absaroka County Sheriff Walt Longmire is pushed beyond his limits. When three hardened convicts escape FBI custody in a mountain blizzard, an armed psychopath leads them up Big Horn Mountain. As Longmire struggles to track their treacherous ascent, he'll need all the help he can get from the tribal spirits of the towering summit.

Brilliant story, great narration albeit slightly muffled sound on this recording

The story goes along like the beat of a heart, drawing me in, I felt like I was going along with the sheriff every step of the way. I almost lose myself listening to these stories and have to bring myself back by washing up or some chore to get back in my real world. I’m reading these books in sequence and I’m riveted each time. I like the literary references and their links to the story and characters. This recording isn’t as clear as the other books but I turned the volume up and it was ok.

Narrator very poor

The narrator is diabolical. Can’t understand what he is saying. Waste of money. Love longmire but just can’t get what is being said
