Amazing..!
Listened to the body series from Nick and loved it so decided to see what else he had done. What a find this book is..!! Amazing and one of the best I have listened to and pretty current to life in 2024..!

Excellent gripping storyline
It’s scary in that it is so believable. It was different to anything rose I have read but I was gripped. Narration excellent as always. Would highly recommend

Excellent
I have read many of Nicks books. Some are formulaic but fun short tales with ok characters. This however is a different story a really excellent tale with creative twists and believable characters.
Enjoy, I did.

Slow burner that gets increasingly tense
It’s a bit of slow start and I was wondering where it was all going, but the tension and excitement gradually increases and the last third is a great pay off. Also good performance

Heartbreaker - battery breaker
Well I just couldn’t stop listening to this gripping and at times shocking story. It was interesting to learn more about the Middle East problems entwined in such a brilliant story with intriguing characters. I can’t wait to listen to the next Nick Louth novel if my phone battery can take it.

Very different
To his Gillard series but very enjoyable. Took some concentration keeping track of the character names but the brilliant narration really helped. Highly recommend

Epic story!
Brilliant and gripping story that intertwines fiction and reality over many layers. After reading many of Nick Louth books which have all been very enjoyable, this is one of his best so far.

Brilliant and so relevant
This novel is so different from Nick Louths other books. From the very start it had me gripped and I found myself listening at every opportunity. With the situation in the Middle East ongoing I found the content to be very relevant . The characters are imperfect but very relatable. The Narration was excellent and I really hope that this isn’t a one off story.
