In a world overrun by an unprecedented outbreak, two young women find themselves on opposite sides of the struggle for survival.
Saff, a determined new doctor in the first year of her internship, had clawed her way out of a tumultuous past, only to be dragged back into it when the zombie outbreak hits. And when Saff's father dies, she finally has the chance she's been waiting for. The chance to escape. But only if she can steal the medication she desperately needs and survive long enough to get to safety.
With both girls fighting their way to stay alive day by day, in a world where every circumstance is against them, they realize that maybe traveling together can help them both get what they need.
But Maddie doesn't know Saff's secret. She doesn't know where she came from—what she was. And Saff will do anything, especially lie, to get the medication she needs.
The absolute last thing she needs is to fall for some smart-ass rich girl who will get in the way of that.

Amazing!!!

This is a brilliant zombie apocalypse story, the best ever. Frightening at times but captivating from the start and with a unique amazing storyline. In a cruel world a beautiful love prevails, and it is an emotional journey. 💖

A Heart-Stopping, Heart-Melting Love Story in the Apocalypse – 15 Stars!
I was absolutely blown away by this audiobook! It delivers everything I could ever want—high-stakes survival, an immersive dystopian world, and a lesbian romance so raw and powerful that it left me breathless. The blend of action, emotion, and slow-burning love is nothing short of perfection, and the narration brings it all to life in the most phenomenal way.
The two heroines—flawed, fierce, and deeply human—are thrown together in a world where trust is dangerous and love feels impossible. Their connection builds gradually, filled with tension, stolen glances, and moments of heart-wrenching vulnerability. Every interaction between them is layered with emotion, making their journey as gripping as the apocalypse surrounding them. And the way their voices are portrayed? Absolutely stunning.
The narration is, hands down, one of the best I’ve ever heard in an audiobook. and so it Maddie to be fair. slow burner for sure but it builds up their relationship in such a natural way. Definitely sausy when needs to be. Essentially lesbian walking dead.

Brilliant
Excellent storyline with interesting characters and captivating plot through and through. Wasn’t sure if this was for me as I’m not usually into the whole zombie thing but I loved it! Highly recommend 🏄🏽♀️

Brilliant, Loved It ❣️
Thos audible book combines the infected, survival and sapphic themes...and it does it brilliantly. It has everything from relationships (both family & and personal), gritty experiences, humour and sadness (shh! dont't tell anyone but I did cry at one point!).
Lori P does a great job at getting across the narration for each character. I will definitely look out for other books from this author xxx
