Informative, Supportive, & Valuable
I appreciate how vulnerable and open the author begins the book. I loved how it helped me understand the concept of an inner child and gave me valuable exercises for exploration. I also love the empathetic and supportive tone of this book.

Turns out, it is possible to heal
Let's keep it 100: I wasn't expecting much when I hit play on this audio guide. Thought it'd be another one of those preachy self-help spiels. But, man, was I wrong. This thing felt more like a chat with an old friend who's been through the mud and gets it, you know?
It broke down the whole 'inner child' thing in a way that didn't make me feel like I needed a psychology degree to get it. It's like, for once, someone's talking about heavy stuff without making it heavy. And those tips? Actually doable. Didn't feel like I was trying to climb Everest with flip-flops on.
It's not a cure-all, but it's a solid mate to have on your side. Made me think, reflect, and sometimes chuckle at how spot-on it was. If you're feeling a bit lost in the sauce or just need a nudge towards understanding why you tick the way you do, this might just be your jam. Just goes to show, sometimes the stuff we need to hear comes in packages we least expect.

Insightful
At the heart of this book lies a deep understanding of the inner child—the vulnerable, authentic aspect of ourselves shaped by early experiences and emotional wounds. Before this book, a lot of what I knew about the inner child seemed mystical and difficult to relate to. This book brought it home and gave me a more nuanced understanding of what it is like to heal yourself. Highly recommended.
