I’m grateful this was a short story because the emotional angst had me in a chokehold throughout. Five minutes in, and I sat down and cried till it finished. Maybe it was worse because I’ve lost a brother, but I think the writing was so brilliant everyone will break along with the main character. The narration was excellent and brought the story to life. This was a truly beautiful story with a beautiful HEA and I loved it
