About this listen

What would you do...if the whole world just stopped? Yes, the whole world. Birds in the air. Planes in the sky. And every single person on the planet - except you! Because that's what keeps happening to ten-year-old Hamish Ellerby. And it's being caused by the WorldStoppers and their terrifying friends, the Terribles!

They have a plan! They want to take our world for their own.... Oh, and they hate children. Especially if you're a child who knows about them. Hang on - You know now, don't you? Oh dear. Can Hamish save us from the WorldStoppers?

The most amazing audio book In the history of Audiable

This book was so good I listened to it 5 times, I listened to it a chapter at a time as I was drifting off to sleep. Danny Wallace is my faviroute author by far and I hope to hear of a new book soon.

8yr old loved it

We both listened to it on a long car trip, my daughter loved it (especially the incident with the toilet), and I rather enjoyed it too. Well read by the author.

My kids aged 9 and 8, girl and a boy, both loved it. Bit scary but not too bad.

Very enjoyable

Excellent storyline, well read by the author, but spoiled by the same blaring jingle of music at the start of each chapter. Got extremely annoying when I was not even half way through. Definitely worth putting up with though, it was a lot of fun to listen to as I wound down before sleep. I'm a 42 year old with a wide taste in books, this just hit the spot for something light and entertaining.
