About this listen
How to survive when the god of war wants to destroy you and everyone you've ever met? Probably hide, really really well. What did I do? Become head priest of the most beautiful, irritating, quick-thinking, mind-reading, mildly sarcastic goddess I could trip over in the woods, then tell the war god to his face that I was gonna wipe up the pantheon with his ugly mug.
Now I'm seeking divine intervention from gods in neighboring cities, fending off a parade of unwanted guests, and racing to build this temple into a wallsy, towersy, fortressy, badass city with defenses for days - before the war god's newest recruits can blow this place to kingdom come.
Thankfully, I have the girls to help me. They're the first family I've ever known, and I won't let the war god take them from me as long as I'm still alive. Which, I admit, may not be much longer...
Warning: This book has no gimmicky warnings, just nonstop save-the-world action, tons of cool new skills to unlock, and me working my ass off to keep my growing city full of beautiful women satisfied!

Excellent Sequel
I really enjoyed listening to this one! The story was good. No dull moments. Lots of action happening. Let's not forget the puns! They're absolutely hilarious.
I was very impressed with the narration of Chris Graves. He's so talented. He did an awesome job with the female characters.

more please
a great continuation, with more skills, more exploring, more city building and more fun.
I worry a little that the power creep will be a bad thing, but hopefully the author keeps it in check.
the story remains simple and engaging, so if you had fun with book 1 you will continue to do so.
Chris remains one of the gems of this audiobook and I couldn't imagine the series without him.
he breathes life into the characters in a way even skilled authors struggle with and it takes the series higher than it could on it's own

An enjoyable LitRPG
This the 2nd in the series is quite enjoyable and kept me listening throughout. Did find one of the voices a bit annoying but otherwise very good.
Particularly liked some of the twists and evolutions and how they gain a Innovative population.
Somewhere about the 4.5 overall i think and this is light on the harem element still but a little heavier on the stats.
I requested this audio and have decided to leave my thoughts on this for everyone.
