A Must Read!

I knew a lot of this already but I loved her no nonsense approach and she’s so funny! ( I listened on audible)

Such a great book for anyone who wants to improve their health. Small tweaks can make a big difference and Davinia makes it easy to understand. Especially relevant to hormonal women but the underlying message is relevant to us all. Highly recommended!

Very interesting, makes so much more sense about my body/life. I wish this information was around as I was growing up. I’m 58 now, I’ve struggled with uncontrollable bleeding & Dr’s just tried different tablets for 6 mths at a time, I bled for 9 yrs with little to no help from the medical professional. I’m through the menopause now but still have hot flushes/flashes, fingers crossed hacking my hormones will help now.

Quick, clear and very practical.

I love how grounded and down-to-earth Davinia Taylor is. She suggests lots of different ways to improve hormonal health and feel better and stresses that everybody is different and different things will work best for different people.
The book is practically divided into chapters focusing on sleep, eating, energy levels, brain fog and menstrual cycle, and you can either read the whole book or start with whatever chapter you like.
"Hack Your Hormones" is quick, clear, fun, and full of tips and ideas on improving your hormonal health and overall well-being.

A must read for women speciallu 30 plus

This book is done so well and is so relatable i got on audio but will be buying the paper version too so can make notes. Great read and do and will highly recommend

Very informative however...

Informative if you are not very informed about nutrition and hormones and I congratulate all the research and effort going into writing it. I am vegan and so you might say I am biased for what I will write next which is fair enough. However, this has been a journey of learning since I started 6 years ago. There is reliable scientific information about becoming planted based in a healthy way, it requires learning and reinventing if you had eaten meat and fish your whole life like me. It's all about how much do you want to invest in yourself and your health, for me I see it as pleasure and discovery. Therefore, I have to say I am disappointed with the brief remarks about veganism in this book. Not all vegan diet is about meat substitutes and process foods, in fact is meant to be the opposite of it. The permiss of plant based diet is to not eat animal related products, faking them is just hilarious. So just wanted to say to the author, it's important to write about things that we have a deep understanding because it is a big responsability when we decide to publish a book about anything to divulge information that can be so deterimental to one's life. If we haven't investigated enough it's better to don't mention it. Personally, I don't preach (only talk about my food habbits if asked) and I do think there's a lot of unecessary segregation between people around their food habbits which in my opinion is just silly, diversity brings growth and should be embraced. Our food beliefs are part of our identity, impact our health and the health of others around us greatly, hence why I decided to leave this note. Thank you for reading.
