About this listen
Newly re-edited.
The Mylos came for genetic trade, offering a chance for the women of Earth to meet and marry their perfect other halves as well as advances in technology and education for all.
Darla Levin isn't looking for a husband. She is, however, looking for money for college. Falling short of her needs using financial aid, she decides to take a gamble and apply for the Bride Registry Scholarship.
It seems simple: You don't get matched unless you're a perfect genetic and psychological fit, and for the scholarship, the pool is limited to Mylos currently in orbit. Matches are so rare, she's never known anyone who has known anyone else who has been matched.
After her best friend Angie registers and received her scholarship funds immediately, Darla takes the plunge. Only the unthinkable happens, and she finds she is now the mate to Gundar, the commander of the Bride Fleet itself.
Romance with a happily ever after and no cliff-hanger. For mature listeners only!

Great story
I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This is a great story, well written and well performed. A lot less steam than some of these books can be which makes it easier to listen to

Enjoyable story.
I really enjoyed this story, the characters are great and I feel that what happens would happen if it were to happen....if you see what I mean. I felt I could relate to Darla, what she was going through and feeling and I loved getting Gundar's point of view aswell. It made me laugh several times with the things that happened. There were enough twists throughout to keep me interested. It did take me a little while to get used to the narrator, once I did I settled in well to the story.

What an amazing series!!!
This is my second book by this author ( Loretta Johns) and the series keeps getting better. I love this storyline and it keeps me engaged. Definitely a great story that is a must listen.
And I have to say what a fabulous story. My only complaint is that it is a short story. I can’t wait for books by this author. I’m hoping that this will be a long series of stories. The narrator Audrey Lusk does a phenomenal job with the characters . I hope to hear even more from the author. She does a fantastic job with the characters voices. I can’t wait for more to come.

A mate for you listen
This story is book 2 of a series . This story tells about a mail order bride but in the future, on other planets . The story has lots of layers and excitement. The author writes about an alien and human love
Hero is a Gundar . Heroine is Darla
Darla is strong willed and tells what is on her mind no holds back . Gundar is a perfect match for Darla. He know when to keep her in check , but he’s also gentle and strong .
Grab it and see if this story ends in happiness
Audrey the narrator was good. Her voice is good , smooth

Steamy Sci fi romance
This was a fun short read about mail order brides for the Mylos. Darla applies for a scholarship from the Bride Registry and is shocked when she is matched to Gundar the Captain! Darla is strong willed but young, Gundar is older and surprised to be matched, but the match is good and despite some humorous cultural difficulties, there is a happy ending for them. I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to more in the series, Audrey Lusks narration is good. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Gundar
I did find it slow going in certain areas of the story. However, the book is not a bad read/listen.

Bland and boring
Very bland and boring. The main female character got on my nerves, a lot! No real plot, no real action. Romance it might be, but there wasn't much in the way of decent sci-fi. I don't think i'll be reading any more in this series.
Narrator was good and probably the only thing that got me through the whole book.
