About this listen
The acclaimed author of Neurotica finds fertile ground for her wicked wit in this ferociously funny new novel about babies, sex, celebrity... and daring to date a gynecologist.
Ruby (still single at thirty-two) Silverman has made a name for herself at Les Sprogs, her exclusive baby boutique where trust-fund mothers swaddle their infants in the hottest designer wear. But all those bumps and babes can't prepare Ruby for the bombshell her fifty-year-old mother drops on her: Ruby's about to get... a baby brother or sister!
When Ruby recovers from the shock of her mother's pregnancy, she can't help but question her own baby making future. Is catering to celebrity mums and cooing over her friends' kids all she has to look forward to? Sam Epstein would passionately disagree. He's the gorgeous Jewish gynecologist who has set his amorous sights on her. Soon they're seriously involved, and life seems to be looking up for Ruby. Until she stumbles upon a shady baby-brokering business that could erupt into a major scandal, derail her career, and maybe even force her to toss the supposedly perfect man out with the bathwater.

Very funny
If you are a fan of Marian Keyes, Fiona Neill, Allison Pearson and the like you are really in for a treat!
Very funny, excellently read by the author - one for the sunbed or a long journey!

A girly read but a fun one
I normally listen to an audiobook when walking home after work. Any other book would be stopped as I was approaching my front door and not listened too until the next working day. This book however quite often was not stopped as it was really quite addictive. Yes it's girly, not all that serious but it is a lot of fun of which I would recommend.

Poor narration
Quite a boring audio book, the narration was extremely flat with background noise!! May have been more exciting with a professional reading it

Chooci Gucci
This title was a pleasant surprise.
Although the narration is not the best in the world and I really do believe that authors should always leave their ‘character creations’ to professional actors in order to engage effectively with the audience- the storyline was interesting and somewhat believable in the current times of the ‘X Factor Generation’ & Celeb obsessed magazines…
How far will a conceited image obsessed celebrity in the media eye go to keep her perfect figure?…take a listen and find out…
