Summary
From the Wall Street Journal best-selling author of 44 Chapters About 4 Men (inspiration for the Netflix Original Series Sex/Life) comes a fun, forbidden romantic comedy about an inexperienced psychologist and her ultra-famous client.
I am thiiiis close to finally becoming a full-fledged psychologist. PhD? Check. Prestigious postdoc position, providing therapy to entitled millionaires and C-list celebrities whose pumpkin spice lattes cost more than my shoes and make excellent projectiles during their reality TV-worthy tantrums? Check. Letter of recommendation from my supervisor?
That’s going to take a miracle. Not only because my boss said I have to cure our most-prized client’s writer’s block in time for him to meet his insane deadline, but also because that client just so happens to be…
Thomas F*@%ing O’Reardon.
The wickedly brilliant, achingly beautiful, devastatingly British best-selling author whose psychological thrillers line my bookshelf at home and whose face I might or might not picture while I…you get the point. Sitting in a confined space with him, inhaling the subtle scent of his cologne, gazing into his broody blue eyes while trying to remember to nod and listen and come up with suggestions that don’t involve taking our clothes off…it’s torture.
So, when Thomas casually asks me out at the end of a therapy session, I’m forced to make an impossible choice: say yes and risk losing my dream job, or say no and risk losing my dream guy. In a panic, I blurt out a third option—the only solution I can think of that will allow me to see this man after hours without it being considered a career-ending ethics violation: group therapy.
The only problem? I’ve never actually done group therapy. And side problem: My other clients are heathens. But what’s the worst that could happen? I mean, it’s not like I’m going lose all control of the group and let it devolve into a chaotic, bloodthirsty, topless fight club. Right?

So funny!
I was gifted this audio by the author’s team in exchange for a honest review.
This book follows Lou, a therapist who ends up having to help the author of her dreams with a writer’s block. She’s had posters of him (proper fangirling) and now he’s there, in her office, seeking her help! Will her dreams come true?
I can honestly say I haven’t had such a laugh reading in a long time! The situations Lou gets herself into, her therapy clients, her friend, the secretary… they’re all incredibly entertaining. I totally recommend it!

Laugh out loud, steamy romance!
Just when she thinks she is about to get her PhD, Luna Sterling is handed an impossible task. Get the author's writing block unblocked. And not only is this next to impossible, the author is her favorite! Thomas O'Reardon writes the best horror stories, addicting the reader and the biggest obstacle Luna faces is their attraction to each other. What better way for this unsuspecting couple to get through the problem than with group therapy. And the laughs begin. Not only is the passion high, BB Easton brings a cast of people that are so different, each quirky and unable to get through their own issues without her help. Now the group is meeting, and the banter is hysterical! Unorthodox methods lead to problems though. Will Lou get her PhD? Will Thomas's writer's block be removed? And will they give into the undying attraction that is so evidently there? Easton's style of writing will have you laughing, falling in love and your passion flared. Luna is a fantastic character. She is focused, knows what she wants and is trying her best to get there without failing. Thomas is a bit stubborn, and I think he met his match with Luna as well as the other patients. This is fun listen, full of giggles and spice.
Ramona Master and Liam Price use their comedic talents with this one! Master is always spot on with her characters, finding their essence and bringing them to life. Luna is feisty, headstrong and vulnerable all at the same time! Master is all that and more! Thomas is obstinate, unfocused and lovable. Price finds his stride bringing witty banter and charm. It's a wonderful listen.

Where to start?
I always feel like this after BBs books. They are written with so much personality and so much humour in them it’s refreshing listening to them. Ramona is absolutely perfect to portray the madness in these characters. A fantastic performance from both narrators and a very well written book well done guys.

Quirky off-beat Rom-Com
A thoroughly engaging, laughter filled, rom-com from BB Easton, that I completely and utterly enjoyed. This audio is unexpected, refreshing and quite different. The characters are definitely left-field and quirky, and overall I had a great listening experience with this book.
Lou, having had a unconventional upbringing, is now an almost qualified psychologist. Thomas is a successful author suffering a severe case of writers block, with a serious publishing deadline hanging over him. Lou is given Thomas as a patient with the objective of helping him move past his writers block. Lou just needs to help Thomas, and then she's qualified. It sounds so easy, but that doesn't account for a therapy group that is full of colourful, lively and endearing patients, plus some major chemistry between Lou and Thomas. It's all a bit bizarre, with a lot of eccentric characters, but definitely worth all the craziness for a perfect feel-good book.
If you're looking for something a bit different, that's very entertaining, has heart, wit and warmth, and isn't a conventional love story, then I'd definitely recommend this novel.

Fabulous story and narration
Lou is a therapist and has a secret crush on author Thomas, who is sent by his publisher to Lou in order to overcome writers block.
He has an instant attraction, and that's where all the problems begin.
The great mishmash of hilarious characters and situations, along with the excellent narration, makes the audio book a definite 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
