very good method to learn Greek in your car
Where does Greek (Modern) Phase 2, Unit 01-05 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I spend a fair amount of time in my car and instead of listening to "just anything" on the radio I have decided to learn Greek. I am already at phase 2 of this Pimsleur method and must say I really enjoy it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Greek (Modern) Phase 2, Unit 01-05?
This is not like a novel where you have memorable moments but for me a memorable moment is when I notice I still remembre things from the phase 1 when referring to it at this stage. Means the method is good.
Which character – as performed by the narrator – was your favourite?
NA
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
NA
Any additional comments?

Good if you already understand the basics
If, like me, you've been trying to learn Greek for ages and want something to give you yet another boost - this could be your solution. A passage or conversation is read and then taken apart with English explanations and you're given lots of opportunity to use the phrases yourself as they ask you to say things. It's cumulative so it builds on previous work all the time. I think if you were having this as a first-time introduction to Greek it wouldn't work unless you're happy to just copy without understanding. I like to understand things, so it helps me that I already understand the grammar basics. This just gives me lots of practice at speaking and getting things right. I'll continue to download the units as I find it so easy to use on my phone - plus I can plug it into the car and do it as I drive.
