Food and Drink and little else
This was quite a disappointment to be honest.
There's nothing wrong with the fine narration done by Scott Zdanis, but the content is a rather boring endless listing of eateries and bars.
Plus you get amazing insider tips, like "try surfing". Well, who would have guessed you can do that in Hawaii.
A lot of prices are called out for city tours or food or day trips. They are only helpful, if up to date and considering the audiobook has a 2018 copyright, I do wonder.
Furthermore this needs a PDF to go with it. Who on earth will remember all those addresses and hotel, bar, shop, restaurant, whatever names.
Apart from the advise, where to find electro bikes for rent, nothing environmentally friendly here either.
In fact, there are so many Japanese recommendations, I kept asking myself, if the audiobook is rather directed at the Asian tourist market.
Nothing low budget here, too and I never felt like I was listening to tips from a local.
Sorry, but not for me. However, if you want to spent your vacation dining, drinking and shopping, this could be worth a try.
As mentioned, performance is fine.
