In this audiobook, you'll discover local advice that will help you throughout your stay. This audiobook will not tell you exact addresses or store hours but instead will give you an excitement and knowledge from a local that you may not find in other travel audiobooks.
Travel like a local. Slow down, stay in one place, and get to know the people and the culture of a place. By the time you finish this audiobook, you will be eager and prepared to travel to your next destination.

Absolutely terrible!!!
This is about as close as it gets to being ripped off by a book!!
God where do I start...... Ok so it is narrated by a computerised voice which is like a computerised voice only much more annoying! The rising intonation at the end of every sentence makes the speaking robot sound constantly surprised.
There are 50 chapters in the book that lasts 44 mins - so you do the maths. The chapter named "The Lakes" is 50 seconds long!!!! - you get advice such as "be careful, you can get sunburnt on the lake". The Chapter named "The Mountains" is 31 seconds long - I promise I am not making this up!!! Well known places are pronounced wrongly - anyone heard of "waist" water or Helver-lin????
And did you know that you can get on a steamer on Windermere??? and that it gets quite crowded in the summer? - hardly secret facts!!
This is a a brazen attempt at making a few quid for the least amount of effort possible.
I mean, it's only 44 mins long but the author couldn't be bothered to read it or ask another "human" to do it.
For the first time since becoming a member quite a few years ago, I'll be seeking a refund!

Diabolical
This has got to be one of the worst books I've ever tried to review. It does have 1 or 2 interesting facts about Cumbria but they are few and far between. If it had been any longer then I would definitely not have completed it. The narrator is an artificial voice and not even a good one. Would not recommend.
I was given a copy of this book and leave this honest review.
