About this listen
Gravity is not your normal, sweet romance of childhood friends to lovers. Spanning over twenty years—it's raw, it's real, asking the question if soul mates really exist.
Lily At eight years old, the boy next door changed my life. He was the force pulling me toward him despite our differences. It was like magic. We understood each other, supported each other and in the process became everything to each other.
But in chasing Trevin's dream, I lost myself along the way.
Trevin Through tremendous heartache, she was there. Through fame and fortune, she was there. Loving Lily was the one thing I got right.Eclipsing her in my shadow, I took from her until she was empty. Now I must do anything to prove I can be the man she wants, no, the man she deserves.

Deep story, narrators held it back a bit!
Gravity was quite the story. I love listening to a story where it's a deeply routed... it starts at the main characters being 8 years old and they start an incredibly important relationship, one that spands decades and lasts through so much turbulence. Stories that start like this make me feel all kinds of gooey inside my heart... I love the first kiss and first times being between such close people like this. I was smitten with Trevin and Lily.
Jay Lindenwood and Bridget Bordeaux were ok. There were parts in this book where they didn't feel as real, as emotional as the words they were speaking. I don't know there are audiobooks that I finish and I feel emotionally shaken. I'll feel as though I went through all the emotions with the characters. The narrators didn't have me "living" the story like I could have. The authors writing really made it a possibility but the narration held it back a bit for me.

His Gravity <3
Lily and Trev met when they were kids and had an instant connection. She is the stability in his very unstable life. When they are teens Trev is faced with a life changing event and Lily is there for him, as always. Trev realizes he’s has feelings for Lily and kisses her but soon after he breaks the kiss he realizes what he’s done and vows to never do it again because her friendship is important to him and he’s scared to lose her. After Trev starts writing songs and singing, Lily realizes how talented he is and gets him an audition. With the guitar Lily got him for his birthday, Trev knocks the socks off of the talent scouts. This begins Trev’s life on the road. He and Lily remain best friends but each are living their own life. Lily is in college and Trev is touring. After some time Lily moves in with Trev and eventually their friendship turns romantic. Their story is over many years and they have good times and bad times that they just get through life together. Lily has moments when she feels she is losing herself to be with Trev and he is scared to lose the only person who loves him. I really liked Trev’s character. Lily, at times, seemed to be a little self-centered. Trev’s love for Lily never wavered and he was willing to do whatever she asked in order to be with her.
Bridget Bordeaux and Jay Lindenwood did a great job with narration. Mr. Lindenwood has a great singing voice, I would’ve loved to hear more.

Good story spanning 20 years
I enjoyed listening to this book because the premise of the story was good. Best friends who love each other, but never quite get it together for 20 years. It was good because the will they won't they element didn't drag on, but was punchy and interesting. There was a part when they were fifteen when I wanted to band their heads together, but in general the storyline and plot development was excellent. My issue with this audio book was the narrators. While doing dialogue they were fine, but when performing the descriptive narrative I found them both to be a little robotic and monotone. In the end I did get used to it, but at times it was of detriment to the story. Overall an enjoyable 7 hours and 10 mins listening to a great story.

it was ok
Gravity is a romance that spans many years and I really liked that. There were some great characters and I enjoyed their development and the story's plot. However I didn't love any of the characters and I wasn't sold on the narration. Don't get me wrong, it was ok, but I wasn't convinced by it.
In conclusion, while I didn't love the narration or some aspects of the story, it was still worth a listen.
