Summary
Sam reminds me of the horses we rescue. Scarred, skittish, and…strong. Beautiful.
He’s a bit of a hat-stealer, and, truth be told, I’m a little leery of his chosen profession. The things he does in front of a camera...well, it makes me blush just thinkin' about it. But if that scar on his face is any indication, he could use somebody at his back. I aim to be that person.
And yeah, some of my parts get confused by the fact that he’s all delicate and sparkly, but that’s not important. Even if the good hand lotion has somehow made it into the tack room.
I just hope he knows that he’ll always be safe with me.
It's official. I now identify as Wrangler-sexual, and it’s entirely the fault of Trip Goodnight.
He's the strapping cowboy next door and will someday be the father of my two-point-five children. He just doesn't know it yet.
We’re an unlikely pairing, what with him being a straight cowboy and me being a gay sex worker, but those, darling, are mere details. When he saves me from a literal nest of rattlesnakes, it’s nothing if not true love. I’m aiming for a spring wedding.
In fact, I’ve stolen Trip’s cowboy hat and used it in one of my videos, so I’m already well on my way to making him mine. Besides, he’s the first man outside of my found family who’s made me feel safe. Protected.
That’s gotta count for something...right?
Bisexual awakening, hurt-comfort, size difference, friends to lovers.

The cowboy and the cam boy find love.
This is such a sweet and swoon worthy, snarky slow burn that has the perfect balance of romance, drama and a cast of main and secondary characters that keep the plot very interesting and engaging. It’s is beautifully narrated by Blake Lockheart who brings life to all the characters. He maintains the same cadence and tone for each throughout the entire audiobook which makes for a wonderful listen.
Cam boy Sam may look femme and sparkly but he has great inner strength and can be fierce when required. Trip is a big, cowboy teddy bear with a heart of gold and loves his ranching life - including the Houdini like stallion and the grumpy goose!
Circumstances bring Sam and Trip together and their friendship develops quickly and deeply. Sam can’t help but crush on Trip who really is a bit oblivious until it’s pointed out to him by an employee. So begins his bi-awakening journey, which he fully embraces, and the steamy times begin in earnest turning the heat level up to scorching.
The sweet and swoon is balanced with some angst and drama as Sam’s past with his family comes back into his life. The romance itself between these two wonderful characters is not tarnished by any miscommunications or other crisis , it just bubbles along nicely with the dramatic moments.

Amazing audio of wonderful book
I LOVED this book when it came out in print and fell so hard for Trip and Sam. I adored Sam’s cluelessness about ranch life (horse condos!) and Trip’s obliviousness about his own attraction. At the time, I wrote that I could not put the book down.
I didn’t think it could be better, but I was wrong. The audio came out and I was back in love with this family, this world and this story. Lockheart’s narration is so spot-on. From Trip’s slow drawl to Sam’s complexity, Lockheart achieves this rich nuance that makes the characters come to life even more than they did in my head.
Fox, of course, gave him a richly-crafted story to work with and credit for that must go back to her. The humour (especially Sam and his man-eating horses), the relationships, both platonic friendship (Desi) & found family (Bash family) weave a brilliant tapestry of a world I can’t wait to lose myself in again.

Delightful heartfelt juxtaposition of traditional and modern romance
Fantastic Kelly Fox book, one of my absolute favourite stories and a standout couple. Picks up with characters from previous books but works perfectly as a standalone. Steamy and romantic but with a real build to the romance and overarching storyline which makes you feel really invested. Minimal angst, proportional to the plot and not excessively drawn out. Perfect audio rendition of a great first book in a fab series. Will be replaying straight away!

His Fantasy Cowboy
MM, Bisexual awakening, hurt/comfort, Size difference, Friends to Lovers, Contemporary, Romance. Fantastic story, Binge listened to it and then listened to it again. Great characters and non stop action (on camera and off ;) ). Angst, Wit, humour, passion, angst and a voyage of discovery set in Cowboy Country. Fast paced plot with twists and turns throughout, I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story and watching their relationship evolve. Brilliantly narrated and a joy to listen to. Guaranteed HEA.

Absolutely fantastic!
I was so looking forward to this audio as I loved the book and I was definitely not disappointed. Blake Lockheart did an amazing job with his performance of both Trip and Sam and I simply can’t wait for more! Sexy and sweet with the twists and turn you expect from Kelly Fox. (And, hello, the Bash brothers!)

Love Sam so much
Ahhh I forgot just how much I love Sam. He is still very much the boy I want to adopt as my little brother. His crush on trip is highly documented on his cam channel and his flirting with him is quite comical in places. Trip slowly realises he isn’t as straight as he thought he was and he is very much “Sam-sexual” Trip is perfect cowboy husband material and I’ve fallen even more in love with him. He is so supportive of Sam and as their relationship progresses he becomes more and more protective of him. I like that nothing is rushed with them and I also really like that Trip checks in with Sam knowing his past while they are being intimate it really gave me butterflies as you can see his love for Sam so clearly. They have a cupple of dramatic moments to work through but being the tough cookie that he is Sam walks out the other side even stronger.
As always with Kelly’s books I enjoyed the cameos especially getting to see more of Anders.
Blake did a great job of narrating Kelly’s awesome boys.

Cowboys for the win!
I absolutely adored Trip and Sam!
Trip was born and Raised on the ranch. After his mother's death he was in a rough place but when Sam entered his life his world shifted on its axis and it was bright again
Sam is a camboy who can't seem to get tye sexy cowboy out of his mind. He makes him feel safe, protected and a bit mushy😉
Trip and Sam are opposites attract at it's finest!
This was one sexy and enjoyable Wrangler romance.
Blake performed an amazing audio delivery and Narration as well
