Summary
I wanted to fall for a boy. Not a man. Not a legend....
The month I wrote my first piece of code, Jax Jamieson launched his third platinum album.
The week I drank my first beer, he spent in jail.
The day I got under his skin, I wound up on his tour.
And the night he gave me his hoodie...
I fell in love forever.
Good Girl is part 1 in the best-selling new adult rock star trilogy Wicked! Jax and Haley’s romance continues in Bad Girl and concludes in Wicked Girl.
NOTE: Good Girl and Bad Girl end on cliffhangers - you'll find the book-hangover-worthy ending of Jax and Haley's story in Wicked Girl.

Great Beginning to a Wicked Rockstar Romance!
Rockstar Romance novels are one of my favorites and Piper Lawson does not disappoint. She is a new to me author and I am so happy to have found her. I just adore this story. She has a great writing style, it is realistic and there is a natural flow to the story. The storylines are original, interesting and captivating. Once I started this book I did not want to put it down. The characters she created are complex and are continually developing. Haley, a tech geek college student, was accepted to a summer internship at Wicked Records, the position was for tech support at the corporate office but the CEO of the company re-assigns her to go on tour with a rock bands instead. The headliner being “Riot Act” lead by Jax Jamieson, a hot rockstar she had a crush on. Her first meeting with Jax did not go very well and he came off as a typical arrogant, angsty, smart arse rockstar. Despite his protest Haley is assigned to the tour. In addition to working with Jerry, one of the most experience sound tech guys in the industry she continues to work on her coding, attempting to enter a competition with one of her college Professors. Jax tries not to be such an arsehole to her and once he starts to get to know her better he realizes there is more to her that meets the eye. I loved these two together, it is like two broken pieces fitting together. Not that Haley is broken, sure she has her issues and eccentricities but she is one smart girl, not just book smart but she there is a wisdom about her, she is also driven, striving to succeed. I admire her strength and how she handles herself when crap is thrown her way. Jax, swoon worthy, angsty Jax, he has secrets and hides them well. Not only his own secrets but he finds out something that Haley has been wanting to know. I love how this story is playing out, we are getting glimpses of things to come that have you wanting to know more. There is never a dull moment in this book, plenty of drama, angst, surprise twists and a slow burn romance. I am looking forward to see what the 2nd book in this series brings. Piper Lawson, thank you for this great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood are amazing narrators and voice performers. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Book 1 ❤️
This is a fun book. I enjoyed it all the way Through. There are twists and turns that kept me interested. It ends on a cliffhanger so make sure you have “Bad Girl” ready to go. I enjoyed all the characters and the narration was great. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the books in this series.

Good
This is part of a trilogy so expect a cliffhanger. It’s good but the cliffhanger ending makes it a little unfulfilled.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Well described characters
The storyline was progressing steadily and now I want the next book....
Narrator:
Clear pronunciation and read with feelings

🎧 Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession 🎧
This is my first book by this author and can’t wait to get my hands on Bad Girl next in the series.
I am not a big fan of Rockstar stories, but this on well I’m entranced and can’t even explain why. I fell for Jax, and Haley well she is really a love able person, but that happens maybe it’s circumstance and add narration by Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood win win.

Fantastic!
Good Girl is a wonderful slow burn of a read. It’s got a hot, brooding rock star and a sweet geek of a girl who doesn’t know how sexy she is. It’s well written with an exciting storyline and great characters. I love the relationship that’s building between Jax and Haley and can’t wait to see what’s next for them in book 2. And thanks to the fantastic narrators for bringing this story to life!

Just the Beginning!
I really enjoyed this first book in the series! I liked the author's style and loved the characters. I could definitely relate to some of Haley's emotions. I was surprised that it is a mostly clean listen, see that it is a rockstar romance and all; however, I think this is going to end up being more of a slow burn and will well worth the wait. Of course, there is a cliffhanger so don't be too surprised about it (stock up on the story because you're going to want to keep listening).
Excellent performances by the narrators, they made this a very pleasant listen and their voices seemed to fit the characters well. I am very pleased with their narration and look forward to hearing them in the next book!

YES!!! Fabulous story!
This book! If it isn't relatable there isn't another story out there that is! I was so pulled into Jax's and Haley's story that I finished this in just one afternoon. If you've been a teenage girl, Haley is the typical girl. We've all been there. Falling for the guy in the band that is so wrong for us. We can't help ourselves though.. really it must be in our DNA..
The narration was perfection. Joe Arden has this deep, gruff voice that I could listen to for hours and hours. I love the way his voice sounds with Savannah Peachwood's voice. She has this soft and silky tone that is a perfect counterpoint to Joe Arden's.

Sweet innocent student, meets rock star with attit
Hayley has had it tough for the last few years since her mother died, but she is determined to get through college with scholarships and hard work. She applies for an internship at a record company, in fact "the" record company, the one who represents her very favourite artist Jax Jamieson. Much to her surprise she gets it but manages to cause mayhem on her first day.
Just when she thinks she is going to be fired, her time with Wicked Records is sent off in a different direction as support for the sound engineer on tour with Jax Jamieson!
The story kicks off with a good girl put into some bad situations, wondering if she will cope being in confined spaces with others that are too close for comfort along with her secret crush for added discomfort!
Great start to the series with a cliffhanger to lead you into Bad Girl......

Very good storyline
I’m loving this storyline. It’s very different from the usual rockstar book. Good characters and funny personalities. Brought to life by Savannah and Joe so very well.
