About this listen
Dumped, broke, and jobless, Candi Myers visits her sister in Sapphire Falls to help with her upcoming Christmas wedding.
It’s love at first sight for Troy Caine when he spots Candi nabbing mistletoe her first night in town. Catching her should be a slam-dunk for the hometown hero who gives advice to the lovelorn.
Unfortunately, Candi is not looking to be burned again. Will a town filled with mistletoe, busybody matchmakers, and festive Christmas fun bring Candi and Troy’s lonely hearts together?
My Country Hearts Series is a light-hearted, heart-warming series of romances set in Erin Nicholas' Sapphire Falls world (made available by special license). Enjoy the stories in order or out of order. They are standalone and fun either way.

Getting into the holiday spirit!
Where better to get into the holiday spirit than in Sapphire Falls? This adventure happens around Christmas. The town is trying to come up with how to celebrate, and with the decoration of mistletoe, things get a little crazy. At least for Troy and Candi! Candi comes to town, a dance teacher who has been dumped numerous times. Her last boyfriend really took her for a ride, so she is not looking for a relationship. Troy, a social worker has been playing the field, but after seeing Candi, that all changes. The fun really begins when Candi writes to the town advice columnist for direction on how to proceed with the handsome Troy. Little does she know who is responding to her! Will these two get out of their own way to find their happiness? We even get to see Honey and Max from Going Haywire! Come join in the holiday fun with dancing and love!
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel's narration is like a present! These two provide a wonderful listen. Troy, Max and even Candi's horrible ex are voice with the smooth sound of Tor. His voicing is perfect for each character. From Honey to Candi to their mom, Charley gives each their own style and personality that flows with ease.Merry Christmas!

Another Sapphire Falls win!
Sapphire Falls is a funny town with a penchant for celebrating the various holidays in traditional and exciting ways while remaining committed to the romantic endeavours of the citizen. As far as the series goes, this is the second book and it is fairly stand-alone though the first book definitely leads to the second. It is almost Christmas. Honey and Max from book one are preparing for their second wedding, an event that brings Honey's broken hearted sister, Candy, to Sapphire Falls and straight into the sites of Troy Cane. Of course this isn't the first time Candy and Troy have encountered each other. Unbeknownst to them, Troy is Dr. T, an online agony aunt and Candy has been writing to him for advice. Talk about a tangled plot!
This story is slightly messy in a delicious way. It is always fun when the reader/audience has a clearer picture of what is happening while the characters muddle around in the dark. Rachelle Ayala always creates characters who are quirky, vulnerable, interesting and easy to relate to. I likes Candy and Troy and look forward to finding out what happens next for them if Rachelle Ayala provides the readers/listeners with glimpses into their lives in future books.
