Interesting thoughts on how to start the process
Good starter for those thinking about leaving the rat race. Focused on how to get to a position to start and less on what to do once you've taken the jump.

Motivational
I loved it, already recommended to family. Only real issue is you need to complete exercises throughout to gain the full benefits - not as effective as an audio book I imagine.

Interesting read, though very basic
The premise of this book, that is to start climbing your mountain and enjoy the challenges ahead, was a fun, inspiring concept. However i found the content to be nothing new or insightful. I'd say this would be more suited to school leavers/graduates, and maybe certain naive people. But for the more experienced in life, there's little that you probably don't know already. In fact, books such as Tribes, and Crush It! go much deeper into some of the topics discussed here.
Overall, this is a good basic intro into the topic of building a personal brand or business, and for some people it will provide a brilliant boost of motivation to get started.

Based on first couple of chapters...
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I expect non-fiction books to be well-researched. I'm unwilling to listen past the first chapter or 2 if the evidence consists of anecdotes about friends' experiences or 'what God wants'. I was after useful information, I feel this read like a non-very-experienced person's personal views. What's more that person relies heavily on a religious view that I cannot relate to.
Has Go Solo put you off other books in this genre?
no just wary
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
I don't have an issue with the narration, I have an issue with the content.
Any additional comments?
This review is based on the first couple of chapters as I'm not willing to listen to the rest. I felt it was important to leave a review though, otherwise only those who think it is worth listening to will review, which will positively bias reviews.
