About this listen
Read by the author, Tracy Whitwell.
Ever since Tanz discovered she could speak with the dead, life became a whole lot more interesting. But after putting herself in grave danger helping to solve a grisly murder, she’s determined to ignore the voices and put all that nasty business behind her.
So when she’s offered another acting gig in her hometown of Newcastle, it feels like a perfect opportunity to spend some time with family and have a laugh with old friends.
But the dead won’t stay quiet for long. Soon Tanz is being drawn back into their world, and this time, the danger is much closer to home . . .
Gin Palace is the second book in Tracy Whitwell’s hilarious and spookily quirky Accidental Medium series.

Loved it!
I absolutely loved this story. I think it is even better than the first one. I can't wait to listen the 3rd book in this series.

An entertaining and engaging story
Another lively tale starring my fave Geordie psychic. Mostly a new cast of characters in this, as she's actually acting, and the details of that side of the story came across as realistic. A couple of threads to the storyline, one involving fomerly-alive people and one involving the still-alive, the resolutions to which were most satisfactory. And a bit of social history from 19th century Newcastle and Gateshead thrown in!

I love Tanz & her buddies
Another fabulous book by Tracy, I am transfixed by these characters and stories, always so sad when I finish the book and can’t wait to start book 3, hoping and praying there are lots more books in this series.
Wonderful writing and superb narration, I can’t fault this excellent book in any way. I loved it.

I love these books
I read the first book in this series a while ago and was delighted to find this in the audible sale. The story made me laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time, and Tanz and her friends are always a joy. Tracy does a brilliant job bringing her characters to life with her performance and I'm really looking forward to the next book.

Gets under your skin
When I started listening to the first book in this series, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. The character of Tanz was a bit clunky and stereotypical. However, as the story went on it was like getting to know a real person that you were unsure of at first and who subsequently becomes a good friend. I have enjoyed the matter-of-fact approach to the supernatural and Tanz's ecclectic group of friends and family - living and dead. Now I've finished the second book, I miss her. She got under my skin and I can't wait for the next book.

Love it. Gets under your skin
I just can't get enough of Tanz. After finishing the first book, I just had to listen to this one. Both books are so well written that they get under your skin. It's very easy to visualise the story while listening, it's easy to follow and the narration is spot on. I'm gonna miss Tanz until the next book comes out.

Perfect storyline, narration, humour and plot!
Seriously! Did the author get in to my head and identifit my perfect book!?
I feel I’ve known the author for years thanks to her authenticity and humour from one true Geordie to another.
If you want a good storyline with a heart, fantastic narration and great humour thrown in - do yourself a favour and listen. Thank me later! lol

Emotional rollercoaster
I love the down to earth honesty in the writing and the way that the story pulls your emotions; listening to it on Audible just makes it more real because you identify with the storyteller. Definitely an author to follow
