Summary

In this imaginative fantasy story, originally published in the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, a mysterious herd of phantom elephants rampages across Amboseli National Park. How can they be stopped? It falls to Professor Nicholas Falconer, an arrogant academic who specializes in psychical studies, to solve the case.

“This well executed story deserves a 'thumbs up,' for its well-crafted writing.” (KJ Hannah Greenberg, Tangent)

“The herd of ghost elephants is a neat idea and a great premise for a story.” (Lois Tilton, Locus)

“This was another well-told story that I enjoyed immensely.” (Sam Tomaino, SFRevu)
