Summary
Jilted by text message.
Honeymooning with her grandma.
The resort's bartender may look like Jason Momoa, but Roxy is NOT interested.
Being jilted nearly-at-the-altar by text message is not at all how prim and proper Roxy Rose thought her wedding day would go.
Getting dragged along anyway on her Hawaiian honeymoon by her self-centered sister and irreverent grandma is the icing on the horrible wedding-day cake.
Can Kai, the resort's hunky and talented chauffeur/bartender/flame-thrower, turn this disaster of a trip into a romantic adventure to last a lifetime?
Or will his mysterious secrets keep their love from blossoming?
This novel is part of The Escape Series, which includes Aloha, Baby!, Cruising for Love, Island Hopping, and the sweet short story, Coconutty Christmas. You can listen and enjoy these books in any order!
Escape with Roxy into the enchanting Hawaiian Islands as she finally discovers the joys of hanging loose and "Getting Lei'd".
Fans of Melissa Foster, Bella Andre, and Melanie Shawn are sure to love this delightful romantic comedy novel. Dive in now!

A Fun Hawaiian Adventure!
After Roxy is left at the altar, she goes on her "honeymoon" with her grandmother, Baggy, who is a hoot, and her sister, Ruthie. Together the three of them embark on a Hawaiian adventure full of love and fun in the sun. This book is the love story of Roxy and Kai and also the beginning of The Escape Series. Ann Omasta did a nice job writing and narrating this sweet story. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Love love love
This was such a fantastic and uplifting story considering how it starts. The main couple just had me in stitches as they tried to work out how to make their relationship work. The Grandmother was just the best. She nearly over shadowed the main characters and I often found myself hoping that she would turn up again. Such a well written and narrated story. With regards to the narration the pacing and characters just seemed to work so well that I had to see who narrated it and was so happy to see the author was the narrator

Roxy & Kai!
What a fun listen this is! Take me to Hawaii! Roxy is jilted at the alter when her fiance and best friend run off together. To help with her situation, her grandmother takes her on her honeymoon to Hawaii, and our story begins! Roxy is a great character. While a little hesitant, she truly just want to get back on the saddle again. Kai is the bartender, and he seems to appear everywhere. Good looking, Roxy assumes he can have any woman, but his attraction is for her. These two are so entertaining as they trip over each other and try to find their way together. But the real break out in this book is Roxy's grandmother. What a hoot that woman is! Spunky and unashamed of anything she does, she is willing to live life and enjoy it. It's a great story of family, love, second chances, and living and enjoying life! I loved it. Ann Omasta not only writes this amazing story, but she narrates it with all the humor, passion and fun. Not all authors can narrate, but she brings her characters to life as they are meant to be. Love her stories and keep looking for more!
