Summary
It's 1923, and Terrence Chalambert is celebrating the death of his father. Egbert Whistle celebrates with him. For Terrence, the death means inheritance, land, and titles. For Egbert, it's the motivation he needs to return to his spiritual home, London. In batty, blue-blooded Chalambert family tradition, however, there's a catch: Terrence has three days in which to return to the capital and claim his birthright or forfeit it all to his sister.
In this riotous satire, what should be a simple journey from Cornwall to London rapidly descends into chaos. Unable to outpace their own ineptitude and rampant self-sabotage, events take a dark turn for the hapless pair of friends, and Eggy—our peculiar, panic-prone antihero—soon finds himself caught in the middle of a violent family feud for wealth and power. Gentlemen Don't Run is a deeply silly tale of hubris and hysteria—but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.

Eccentric & Entertaining
I enjoy an Audiobook narrated by the Author, I always feel the passion brings the book to life.
The characters, phrases and tale were fascinating I found myself embroiled in the story and carried along by the highs and lows of the characters.
I’m left not knowing who is or was my favourite character by the end… but I know you don’t kill a horse.
