Gorgeous, inviting ...
Through the generations, Icari, a porcelain living doll, serves the members of the house in any way that they desire. If broken, she can be repaired. This is a sad story and, as stated, not suitable for children. The visuals conjured up are both brutal and erotic. The ending starkly cruel.
Mr.Saoulidis has the power to create vivid pictures with few words. The narrators, Don T.Lessen and Donna Tellame, performed well.
My thanks to the rights holder who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy, viz Mythographers. This is a very short story which seemed to end almost before it began, and felt like a fragment of a larger book. Although beautifully written, mysterious, it left an unpleasant aftertaste.
