Summary

Dr. Joe Parent, PGA tour instructor, executive performance coach and best-selling author of ZEN GOLF: Mastering the Mental Game and ZEN PUTTING: Mastering the Mental Game on the Greens, has drawn on a career coaching the masters to write a hundred easy to understand yet powerful tips for improving any golfer’s score, from the essentials of the mental game to helpful hints to keep your composure. As with his other books, you will find yourself returning time and again to hear what Masters and PGA Champion Vijay Singh call “lessons that make the mental game seem so simple”.

Good tips

Some good tips but will definitely have to listen again to have most copied to memory for practice and playing.

Don't get mad - get mental... !!

Half of these tips are essential; the other half are merely indispensable. I just can't tell which half is which!

Doc's tips may help me shave shots but in the meantime since I started listening and practicing the techniques I began to enjoy each round more and more. I still have work to do obviously; you can't just shrug off 40 years of self-criticism and replace with self-compassion overnight.

How better could you play if you simply enjoyed it a bit more and worried a little less? I have Doc on repeat and listen both to and from every round I play. Six stars! ******

A great listen for all golfers

It has without a doubt helped me improve my game massively.
it's mostly common sense when you break it down.
I listen to it on a regular basis, and every time I do I pick up something else that helps me improve my overall game. Not only has my game improved but I can now stand my own in competitions without being overwhelmed by better players, bad shots or pressure shots.
I think this will help any level of player
