About this listen
Raina and Wizard are back, racing across the Northern Waste to outrun ice pirates as they follow a distress call to an isolated community that just might hold the answers to the mystery of Wizard's missing-and-presumed-dead, now-possibly-alive sister, Tatiana. But instead of answers, all they find are buried secrets and a truckload of trouble.
For those of you who've been missing the Northern Waste, Frozen is a brand-new novella that takes place between the events of Driven and Hidden. It can be heard as a stand-alone.
Warning: Frozen includes nonstop action, Reavers, snowscooters, plasguns, frigid temperatures, rebels, a heroine who's a blonde tsunami with a backbone of pure steel, and a smart, hot hero who has a little difficulty with emotion.

So bone cold
I’m not a big fan of the cold just like this heroine but at least I’m not going to have to fight all the time. It’s fast paced and action packed and a great addition to the series. I love the way they always protect each other and the way they’re doing the fighting together. I’m so ready for the next installment.

Northern Waste Book Two
Northern Waste Book Two.
Raina Bowen and Wizard are back. This time they're on the trail of Wizard's sister, Tatiana. The first clue is a broken distress call from a remote, undefined village. Raina and Wizard set out to one of the three possible locations of the distress call, only to be delayed by an attack. Can they find Tatiana and the village in time?
If you're looking for more from this icy world and those who inhabit it, this is the book for you.
Audio Review:
The two narrators meshed well together in this duet narration. I didn't get pulled out of the story because they blended everything very smoothly.

Raina and Wizard are back!
First of all, this novella is part of a series and should be enjoyed between the first and third books, as intended. Also, I want to mention that Vincent Lee Grayson may sound a little robotic but that is intentional and fits with the character's personality. It took me a while to understand and appreciate this while listening to the first book.
That said, I often struggle to enjoy novellas because I find them too short to do justice to a well-developed story. Not in this case. This book unapologetically fits between the first and third book. It relies on the reader/listener's awareness of the backstory of the characters and familiarity with the world Eve Silver created. It shows further development in the relationship between Raina and Wizard while hinting at what may be coming in the third book. I am hooked and ready to dive into whatever comes next!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
