Worth listening to more than once!

I first started listening to this audiobook in the car. I always know it’s the sign of a good book when I am cursing myself on the motorway as am unable to stop the car to capture some nuggets or actions I must do!

So, I decided to listen through once to get me thinking and then go through again while using the useful resources that can be downloaded at the From Unknown to Unforgettable website resources section.

Sophie delivers her wisdom and advice from a depth of successful experiences in a warm and engaging way. It certainly feels as though you could be sat having a coffee while chatting with a wise friend or mentor.

I am at a critical point with my own professional profile and becoming more known in the marketplace. I, therefore, got a huge amount from this audiobook. It allowed me to see that I am doing some elements already, some that could be refined, and others that I have not started yet.

I am left with some energy, more confidence, and practical steps to take actions that will make a difference to my personal brand and success.

I definitely recommend this if you have your own business, or you are in industry and looking to step up your profile.

A simple but comprehensive guide to making your personal brand work

This is a well crafted guide to creating your authentic personal profile and raising that to promote your business, product or organisation. Sophie takes you step by step through what to do and how, what to avoid and how to maximise effectiveness, with real life examples and some "take action" tips.

This is really true to the Beyond the Bio podcast and perfectly complements it, drawing on the wisdom and expertise of previous podcast guests as well as the author's own experience.

A great book to go through from start to finish or dip in and out of to work on various priority areas

Building a professional profile in digestible steps

Having listened to the Beyond the Bio podcast over the past year I was really keen to hear this audiobook - I liked the snappy content, very digestible and the book feels like an extended deeper version of the podcast really. What I like is the fact that it takes self-promotion, which so many of us need to do but find so icky, and really helps you see it’s just a simple and sustained process to help you promote your business. Really practical and useful advice from someone who walks the talk. As a business owner and rather introverted reluctant self-promoter, I recommend this as a way to get comfortable with putting yourself out there!
