About this listen

They say the best things come when you least expect it.

Burned by her ex-husband and a messy divorce, Jeannie Dubois isn't looking for anything more than a good friend. Besides, she's still dealing with the ex who can't seem to let her go.

Insert NBA coach Aiden Walsh. Sure, he wants so much more than friendship with the beautiful woman he met at a wedding, but he's sure he can play the part, and he's good at biding his time. So, for now, he'll fill any role she wants.

But when these two friends become lovers, things quickly turn complicated. Jeannie finds out Aiden is so much more than just Manhattan's favorite coach.

Can Aiden prove to Jeannie that they're meant to be so much more, or will she send him back to the friend zone?

Loved!!!

This book was perfect, no stupid fights where people don’t talk for weeks. It was very mature, steamy and funny. Thoroughly enjoyed the side characters too. Aiden and Ginny were just perfect for each other. I loved Ginny’s home and mum - it reminded me of my mums home. Food is a love language ❤️❤️❤️

BRILLIANT!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book kinda sits as the third book after 'Takeover' (Ethan and Tarra) and 'Takeoff' (Aidan and Victoria). Just as brilliant as the first two, but much funnier.

Jeanie's co-worker Layla is the funniest, supportive, most petty friend you could wish for. Hoping for Layla to get her own book 🙏🏾

Beautiful

loved this book. Evelyn sola did it again. matured story and characters. coach fell for the girl at first sight. she friend zoned him even though she fell for him as well, until they couldn't hide it anymore. Layla is the MVP, honestly she's the main character lol. book 2 needs to come out already.
