Brill
This is brilliant start of the series, I loved how they reconnected and then it seemed that the past was repeating itself.

I simply loved this book.
A second chance romance between two men (I loved that both Leo and Dawson are almost 40 and not young men) who've been together and loved each other when they were in college, but then lost each other due to betrayal and bad decision which hace influenced both their lives.
When they reconnect by chance after seventeen years Leo is so angry and doesn't want anything to do with Dawson, meanwhile he's on the verge of having his big opportunity careerwise. They both need to make amends with their respective families.
Yet when they finally keep quite enough to explain to each other, all the past is not only forgotten, but obliterated and they find that all their love to each other has never gone away, they resume their relationship full force and this time it will be so much better than the first!
I adored this new series: I love the town of Cedarwood, I loved Leo's huge family (especially Summer, she's so cute) and I especially loved Leo; I mean really he could be me: holding grudges and falling pray to his additions, angry at the world, but what he really wants isto be loved, so as soon as he lets his anger towards Dawson fade, he's all in with his man!

Great!
Story: This was a lovely second chance book! I loved the backdrop the author painted for the story, all the details were well thought out and the secondary characters really complementing it all. Then there were the MCs whom you can't help but love and cheer on!
The emotions were all just right and it was fun to read, with low angst.
Narration: Great voice and a good match for the characters.

Enjoyable
Dawson is a successful actor even if he doesn’t feel it. He sort of cheated his way to the little success he has and paid the price of a relationship he had. When he decides he needs a break and decides to visit his parents the last person he expected to run into is Leo.
Leo has not had a lot of successes in the field he wanted to pursue. He has made some bad choices and is working hard to change his career path. He decides it's time to visit his family who he has not seen for years. The last person he wants to run into is Dawson. The guy who broke his heart and Leo feels stole his success.
After a number of circumstances that cause them to be together they both have to take a look at their current and past lives. This causes a bit of soul searching and Dawson makes an effort to straighten out the past.
I really enjoyed that after stumbling around each other, they have to decide what future they wanted. I also was happy with the ending the author gave the story.
The narration by JD Tomlison brought the book to life and gave realistic feelings to the many emotions going on.
