His new book is The Storm: What Went Wrong and Why During Hurricane Katrina, the Inside Story from One Louisiana Scientist. Doussan is the pastor and Pitman is the pastoral associate at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in New Orleans. It is a hub for rebuilding efforts in one of the most damaged sections of the city.
