Great story, pace and excellent humor. Better than Netflix.
A great side story and an amazing series which is well worth the effort. In fact, it should not be missed.

A good story line but sometimes just having a bit too much detail causing me to think 'just get on with it!'.

This is, instead, Book 2 of the Expeditionary Force MAVERICKS series.
Same Universe, different series.
Name flying a little close to the mark, in my opinion. Audible has a History of poorly curating its titles, so I didn't realise the significance of the "Mavericks" added to the name.

Name close enough, and featuring tangential characters from the main series, so that I didn't realise for WAY longer than I'm willing to admit to that I'd skipped into the second book of the wrong series.
