Summary

What if the people who have the power to change your life are the ones who have been there all along…

Like stars in the night sky, freckles are scattered across Allegra Bird’s arms, a legacy from her beloved father.

Her legacy from her mother is more complicated–until one question from a stranger inspires a change. What if it isn’t about fitting in, but finding the people who make you who you are? Who would those people be?

As she searches for connection, Allegra is about to find out that it is our differences that make life worth living–if only someone can help you to join the dots . . .

Cecelia Ahern’s previous novel Postscript was a Sunday Times bestseller w/c 16th September 2019.

Lovely Book

I loved how this book recognises the quirks in all of us, not one of us is "normal". I also love how the booked acknowledges our need to be special, to mean something to people and also that most of us already do if we just look around us.

I wish Cecelia Ahern could write a new book every!

Really enjoyable. Feel good. A great range of characters and illustration of how stories can create empathy, create deeper understanding, provoke one to ask ourselves important questions, and entertain!

This could be me!

I love most of Cecelia’d stories- but this one is is my top 3 of all. I resonated so much with the main character (and narrator) in so many ways. The narration was fabulous too. As for the character of Becky - I hope you all hate her as much as I did !!!
