About this listen
How do you, as an individual, and how do we, as a global community, deal with loss and grief when we feel powerless?
In Four Fridays: Lessons Learned by Letting Go, author Cynthia Barlow explores the nature of life, love, loss, and letting go, inspired by the passing of a dear friend taken by cancer.
Four Fridays is full of gripping moments, laugh-out-loud reflections, and sassy insights as Barlow chronicles her friend’s parting days and her own perceptions on finding purpose within pain.
Bold and insightful, tender and lighthearted, Four Fridays will take you through the small delights and big decisions, the painful boundaries and celebratory bowel movements, the great purge and the final goodbyes on the road to peace.
An uplifting story that honors the four Fridays Cynthia spent with her chosen big sister and all the precious moments in between, Four Fridays will leave you feeling more invigorated about life itself — and more grateful for it.
Cynthia Barlow is a facilitator, coach, and author of several books, including co-author of the international best-selling Resilience: It’s Not About Bouncing Back. A specialist in emotional intelligence and a popular and experienced keynote speaker, Cynthia has inspired thousands to look deeper and reach higher with her direct, humorous, and slightly sassy style.

Lovely Book
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. It wasn’t what I expected and I’m glad. The story goes into so many different interesting journeys about the author’s life and Christina’s life and reflects on so many things and really makes you look at things in perhaps a different more positive way. It made me laugh and also cry a little but such a good listen and am going to listen to this Author’s other book Threads of Silver if I can get it. The authors voice was very soothing and great to listen to, I would strongly recommend.
