About this listen

Becca McKenzie is just trying to make it through her senior year of high school. She has good friends and a gorgeous boyfriend, but Ryan Jackson, the bane of her existence, keeps popping up everywhere.

She doesn't care that they were best friends for years. She doesn't care that their moms are close, and therefore, she hears more about him that she'd ever care to know. She doesn't care that their mutual friend, Jake, keeps pushing them all to hang out together, and she especially doesn't care that the rest of the school bows down and worships him.

Becca decided years ago that he wasn't worth her time, and nothing, nothing, is going to change her mind.

Contains mature themes.

3⭐️ Kinda Predictable

I really enjoyed this book. I loved how frustrated I got with the characters and how oblivious the main character was. Gutted some parts were missed out / looked over but I was also happy to leave that down to my own imagination. I do strongly recommend this one. It’s not your average romance and it was predictable at times but overall the ‘what happens next’ kept me intrigued.

A must listen!

This book is such a sweet story but gosh, you have to listen to this story then listen to the second book in the series. The second book is so different to this one. First one is sweet. Second book is an emotional tear jerker. I absolutely love this series.

Goes on too much

Very teen story that just goes on too much and it takes just too long and repetitive

Great book

Loved it from beggining until the end. Very real story.
Best moment when she goes to the beach with him and they talk.

Embarrassingly bad

Terribly boring, there is no story, just awful characters that made me want to stab my own ears. Wish it were possible to return audiobooks. I only finished it because I already had wasted my credit on it.
